Never misses a step

This third installment of the highly entertaining "SUPERHAWKS" series picks right up where the second book left you. From the first page to the last of this nail-biting blitz of a an action novel, you will be cheering on the Ghosts as they systematically wipe out all Jihadi threats against America and her interests. In addition to hunting down foreign threats, the Ghosts show that they make very little distinction between Saudi-born terrorist or their American bred co-conspirators. This book will keep you up all night until you reach its rather patriotic conclusion. If you are a fan of the action genre, or just like to see how the military would perform missions most Americans would like to see happening, check out this book.

Love adventure

Anyhow, this author is something else.....his storyline is like a a young boy's fantasy at times.....action, adventure, fighter planes, young women giving it up like a James Bond flick, etc......Its got all the makings of a good war story.....I'm a huge Wingman series fan, got'em all, even the elusive #11. I will say one thing though, being in the Air Force, and a weapons specialist at that, this guy's imagination is really out there when it comes to the munition's capabilities, aircraft capabilities, and the super-genius characters of his....far beyond what could be believeable with any common sense. But, like I said, love the older series, and this new one doesn't disappoint, just seems to have matured a bit over his Wingman series.....if you want a fairly high output, fun read, this is it, but check out his Wingman series too, just set your common sense aside to read it.....

Third jewel in the fight for the crown of Liberty

Mack Maloney has done it again, another excellent series finish, stand alone work of action, imagination, and well developed techo-military thought into the war on terrorism. In this book and series he has adroitly explored the special mission-operations equation very thouroughly and creatively with a high degree of realism. This is against a very compeling struggle of this nation and a means to win it. In this final series installment (? - I hope not!) Mr Maloney draws the Global War on Terrorism to our country and develops an incredible and very credible story. In this book, as with others in this series and other series works, he drops a huge yet subtle clue to a movie that has been done twice and reflects a deep fear many of us face, the loss of our liberty in the face of this world war we are involved in today as a cost for security. Liberty, the core of our nation and freedom can not be a victim of our security, and he has illustrated it very well in this fast paced, highly readable action novel. Following this concept of movies let me bring another aspect to bear. A few years back, The 6 Degrees of Bacon was a popular game. Players would take a movie actor and see how many links it would take to link back to a pretty fine actor Kevin Bacon, directly or by degrees of association. 911 is very much like this game in the effect on the people of America. Many of us have one degree of seperation from the events of that day, I would venture most Americans would come in under six. The point of this analogy is that this concept is a vehicle the characters of this book and series take the fight to enemies of freedom and liberty, not all are the terrorist we have commonly defined. It is also the way the supporting cast of line Americans can see the truth and take on the burden of this fight. Finally is shows the enemies of this country are in many corners, not just the one we are facing. Truely a case of art depicting life. What Mr Maloney has masterfully brought to this culmination work of this series is a message that is at the core of this nation of free people: liberty is something comes with truth, toil, and occasionally a fight - but is worth it. As always Mr Maloney has wove a great stand alone story, you do not need to have read the other books in the series to understand and enjoy. (But I will venture most will want to go back and read the entire series.)The assembly to the other books of this series and his other works (if you are long time fan) is excellent. It is plain that he has felt and interpreted the severity of this attack-struggle-war deeply and expressed it better than most. Security without liberty is not acceptable or the American way. But enough of the heavy interpretation of this work, as always the action is well developed, the descriptions of aircraft, weapons, emotions on target. I focus on the flying and combat scenes and as usual little disapointment - good solid writing describes action and depth of feeling well. A few s

completed the story

If you have read the other superhawk books you will enjoy this one. Because it keeps the story line from the other books going. But now there is a attack that is going to happen on the U.S. main land. There is a bunch of Terrorist that have shipped some Stinger missiles onto our soil, to destroy some of our airplanes. But that is only part of the story line. Think of a Magician when reading this book. Any more and that would give it away. Plot really keeps you going. If you plan on reading this book read the SuperHawks Alpha and Bravo first. Also to all Americans that only way we are going to win this War on Terror is to kill them before they kill us. Remember they have been at War with us since the late 1970's. Remember Beirut bombing of the Marine Barracks 1982 is one example.
