But living in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, at the time of his parting, she could not help observing the marvelous way the Brazilian people turned their mourning of their national hero's death into a celebration of his life. It was in "The magic of that one Brazilian day" that Linda Archibald underwent a life-changing experience. She realised that she had ben plodding through life too cautiously, too deliberately, and that in doing so she had missed much of the joy that she might have seized.
