Great erotic read!

Short stories combined into one book contained great erotic content and story line. Very enjoyable for those who like erotic paranormal romance.

Great paranormal series

This is a great paranormal series. This author can really write and has a fabulous imagination. Her werewolf short story was particuarily good. These stories are erotic paranormals and the characters are very interesting. Basically, it revolves around a sort of paranormal detective agency.

Sundown Inc

Masika began her life in Ancient Egypt. Chosen as one of the Pharaoh's lesser wives when she was just thirteen, she thought she knew the way her life would turn out. Although her body belonged to the Pharaoh, she lost her heart to one of his soldiers. But the Pharaoh found out about her secret love and condemned her to death by drowning in the Nile. It's easy to understand why she was so surprised when she woke up the next day alive, but quite different than she was before. By some act of the Gods, Masika's life had been spared and she became a vampire. She met up with a group of others like her and tried to live at court, but soon found out that sort of existence just didn't suit her. She set out to make her own way in the world. Flash forward two thousand years later. Masika lives a decidedly modern life in London, where she works for an exclusive agency, Sundown Inc., which polices dark magic. Her newest case hits very close to home and Masika is forced to make a decision between her job and her heart. Sundown Inc.: She Who Dares is one of those books that I can just devour. It's like being given your favorite food after not having eaten in three days. I just plunged in and devoured every last bit of it. I could not turn the pages fast enough! Sundown Inc.: She Who Dares has the flavor of a Laurell K. Hamilton and the humor of a Mary Janice Davidson, but even though it has that feel, it is, without question a unique and compelling story on its own. The characters are vivid and engaging, especially Masika, with her no-nonsense, contemporary view of the world. I've never read such a thoroughly unique vampire romance with a heroine as easy to like as Masika. From page one she had me hooked and I was eager to go along for the ride. I am impatiently anticipating the next two books in this series, Blue Moon, which is available now, and What Wizards Want, which is due in March of 2006. I can't wait to find out what's happening at Sundown Inc. Even readers who don't particularly care for vampire romances should really give She Who Dares a try. The best paranormal series out there!

Well, that's what one reviewer called the Sundown series, and I have to agree. These stories all feature wildly different paranormal entities--vampires, werewolves, faeries, wizards, even a pirate queen! You look at the variety of characters and plots and think, no. The author's bitten off more than she can chew. There's no way this can work. And you'd be wrong. This series is really, really fabulous. Funny, sexy, witty, and smart! If you're like me, you won't be able to put this book down until you've read all 4 of the stories. Then I went looking for more--and Cat Marsters has lots more books in the Sundown series available online! I really hope she puts out more anthologies in print soon because this book rocks.

Four Fabulous Stories!

This includes All four stories in Cat's wonderful Sundown, Inc. series from Changeling Press. She Who Dares: Masika is an assassin who's been hired to kill another vamp. Turns out they've met before and she's never forgotten him. This story is a a fantastic erotic paranormal. Fast paced, wonderful characters and Hot! Blue Moon: Is the story of Magda, who's a werewolf, a mom and a woman who's not had good luck in relationships before. What is she going to do with the handsome werewolf who's thrown himself at her, literally! This story has one of the best opening scenes I've ever read. What Wizards Want: Is the wonderful story of Con, who's a wizard and the sexy pirate queen who 'drops into' his life. Loved it! Baby Sham Faery Love: Hot, HOT, funny as all get out and HOT! A sex faery and her two mates. These are all terrific stories, and all Highly recommended!
