A must for executives dealing with the press and candidates

This is a must read for anyone dealing with the press, or simply has an interest in how television news magazines such as Sixty Minutes work. I would rank it along with You are the Message by Roger Ailes as essential for political candidates, public officials, business leaders, and public relations professionals. The author Ken Fairchild has the experience to back up his advice. He is a gifted writer and has a real knack for being a good storyteller. He takes you behind the scenes of some of the biggest stories covered by Sixty Minutes, and some that never made it on the air.The chapters each make a point about how to deal with the press and illustrate it with a behind the scenes story about a company being investigated by a news magazine show. Ken Fairchild has the credibility of preparing more than 25 clients for these encounters, and many more experiences coaching executives on how to speak to the press. I would recommend the book to public officials, executives and public relations executives. It ought to be a textbook in every journalism school in America.
