Mango Boy's dreams of becoming a sumotori come true in this delightful Hawai'i-style Cinderella story. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Love the slang and "accent" in this book, illustrations are fun and wacky and in the spirit of the story, and the story is more than just replacing characters from Cindarella with Hawaiian versions like she did in Musubi Man (a much less impressive tale). Plus, it's a boy instead of a girl as the main character and I think that is a great twist for both boys and girls reading it!

really cute version of the Cinderella story -- different take with a boy being the main character liked all the Samoan slang too
