Good for General Opportunities

If you're looking for a big, generalized guide for viewing an assortment of summer opportunities for your child, this is the best guide available. However, I found "Early College Programs" to be a far superior guide for reviewing summer opportunities for my college-bound teen.

Provides ample information on wide diversity of choices.

A sure-fire way to get your teen excited about summer as an opportunity to try something new. This guide stretches your teen to think beyond the neighborhood and look at programs (general and specialized) all over the US and abroad. The book is well-organized georgraphically and by interest area (e.g., residential computer camps; sailing/scuba programs; dance/theater/music/arts camps; instructional golf/tennis or other sport-specific camps - like skateboarding, bike adventure trips, etc.; or just a list of general multi-activitiy camps). Tip: jump-start your teen's summer by ordering a copy as soon as it's off the press - some of these wonderful programs featured can fill up early!
