From the author of The Art of Desire comes an erotic romance with a supernatural twist. Ethan Tierney is infamous in the art world for his shocking paintings-and his reputation for seduction. He's found a perfect subject in Kiki Dion, an art historian with kinky fantasies of her own. One of my favorite love stories ever!

Do not hesitate to buy this book. I thought it was clever how the author tied the past lovers with the present and I felt the story flowed really well. I read the book in a day because I couldn't put it down! I hope to see many more books by this author.

A Damn Sexy Story

A well written and damn sexy story! I never thought about S & M being so romantic.

The prologue of Submission by Cherie Feather introduces readers to Nicole West and Javier Curtis, dating back to 1913 in Santa Fe New Mexico. Nicole has a natural innocence that appeals to Javier, and she finds his magnetism almost irresistible. Flash to the future. Curtis House has been converted from a hotel to a private residence. Kiki Dion has been invited by a friend to attend party at the old hotel, now owned by erotic artist Ethan Tierney. Kiki knows a lot about BDSM, but only from her research; she doesn't have any first hand experience. Kiki is introduced to Ethan. He's intrigued and asks her if she wants to play, but she's overwhelmed and reluctant so he switches tactics and asks her about her fantasies. She admits she wants to watch ménage sex and he tells her he'll arrange it. So they go out to the other guests so she can choose the players. Ethan's appeal quickly helps Kiki overcome her reluctance, and he leads her down the erotic path of Dominance and submission. The feeling is mutual for Ethan, who feels an unusually intense attraction to Kiki. He feels like he wants to collar her and keep her forever, something he has never felt before. But Kiki continues to feel somewhat apprehensive, like she is being watched. She wonders if Nicole's ghost might be watching her. Ethan owns Nicole's journal-like letters, and he uses them as rewards for Kiki. As Kiki reads the letters, a parallel emerges between Nicole's relationship with Javier and Kiki's relationship with Ethan. When they realize the two ghostly lovers are seeking a way to reconcile the argument they left unresolved after their sudden deaths, they decide to try and find a way to help them. What remains to be seen is the effect it will have on their own relationship. What a fantastic book, and hot, hot, hot! Sometimes when a book has a secondary story the flow is disrupted but that was not the case here. I felt equally drawn to both past and present lovers, and the two stories were tied together perfectly. Written so that even those who are unfamiliar with BDSM terminology will understand, Submission takes away some of the mystery of Dominance and submission and makes it accessible to any reader. The author's deliciously sensual style and intelligent and believable characters make this a book that's so juicy you won't want to put it down. Cherie Feather is a tremendously gifted author and this book is definitely a keeper. 5 Kisses, 2 Peppers (explicit sex, BDSM, voyeurism) ~Lindy Reviewer, TwoLips Reviews, LLC [...]

Submission

Curtis House is the home of BDSM artist Ethan Tierney. Ethan's ability to take the sublime and turn it pleasurable has earned him the reputation as one of the most talented Dominants around. When Kiki Dion arrives at his home with the express desire to fulfill hidden fantasies, Ethan is turned on by this leery yet strong woman. Unwilling to let her go, Ethan begins to show her exactly what being a submissive means. When Kiki misunderstands what is going on she tries to flee but Ethan is having no part of her leaving. It is only after both Ethan and Kiki agree on a D/s relationship that they realize that something is not quite right at Curtis House. Ethan and Kiki have disturbed the souls of the man and woman that tragically died there in 1913 and evidently those ghosts are trying to find their way back to each other, with the help of Kiki and Ethan. Ethan's dominant nature took me by surprise but I found him completely delicious. Every time he gave Kiki a request I wanted to shout out loud with a joyful `yes master!" He was dreamboat yummy and his care and consideration of Kiki's fears and feelings is what made him an outstanding male lead in Submission. I found Submission to be a tremendously hard book for me to read. But it isn't because it was a horrible book or poorly written. That is not the case. The plotline concerning the former residents of Ethan's home is what I had a hard time with and quite frankly, the scenes which involved Ethan and Kiki helping out the ghosts almost were more than I could stand. However, I am one hundred percent positive that my feelings are the problem and not Cherie Feather's Submission. Readers who love a bewitching storyline involving erotic ghosts will adore Submission. The love scenes were particularly arousing and erotic enough to make even the most solemn of readers blush. When Kiki and Ethan's trust in each other soared, my heart did as well. I encourage readers to take a chance on Submission and while the ghostly essence of Submission made me uncomfortable, the rest of the book was amazing. Talia Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

interesting unique erotic romance

Affluent artist Ethan Tierney is known in the art world for his outrageously wicked paintings that some have called pornographic. He seduces submissive art historian Kiki Dion with plans to enjoy her for no more than a couple of weeks in his stately house before he finds his next conquest. However, Ethan is unaware that his home contains two residents who lived there almost a hundred years ago. Javier and Nicole are ghosts who enjoyed the same BDSM relationship that Ethan and Kiki relish when they lived in this home before dying there. Kiki wants to reunite the two star-crossed specters and persuades Ethan to help her by solving a mystery that will enable Javier and Nicole to obtain peace. However, Kiki is stunned when the ghosts not only possesses their respective bodies in sexual encounters but try to help her with Ethan whom she has fallen in love with though she expects he will end their tryst very shortly as no one remains with him beyond two weeks. SUBMISSION is an interesting unique erotic romance with a fascinating supernatural spin. The two couples are fully developed so that the audience feels they know the desires of the humans and the ghosts. The well written BDSM scenes are heated and contain a nice touch of respect. Although the climax feels like premature ejaculation Cherie Feather provides a fresh look at BDSM; made better by the trust that comes with love. Harriet Klausner
