I took this book out of the library on a whim, hoping for something that would help me out of my milk-crate-and-cardboard-box storage routines. This book is really awesome--it has lots of clever ideas that are really not expensive or hard. You know how a lot of those home decorating books want you to go out and buy lots of expensive ready-made storage systems? This book shows you how to screw pegs into the bottoms of your mirror frames to hang silk scarves/jewelry on, or how to make a peg board to hang your kitchen utensils from. It has a lot of DIY type things, so if you're good with a drill and hammer you can make a pretty painted wooden crate on casters that will look like those chic antique finds but is really just...well, a wooden crate on casters. Pretty easy. But decorative. All in all, very worth it.
