We ordered this book because we could not find it anywhere else. It came a couple of days after the order was made vs. it being a week or more. The book itself is interesting and provides very useful info on adolescence for the masters class that is being taken.

quality

the book is in very good condition, with minor highlighting. there really isn't much else to say about a book that you need for a class! hmm....it would have been nice to have known what edition the book was. i needed 8th, and this is 7th. it really doesn't end up being a big deal, i just would have liked to have had that information before making the decision to purchase.

An Excellent Review of Relevant Research and Theories

This is an excellent text for adolescent development. It is an easy read for undergraduate students and it provides summaries of a variety of current research projects. I have used Steinberg's text for two years to teach a course in adolescent development and I have yet to find a better undergraduate text on adolescence.
