Excellent, and not just for colleges!

The one thing I would ask the author is why the title says "in colleges". I can only think that it is because that is where the research was conducted. However, the principles outlined in this book apply to education anywhere! It is clearly set out with examples and case studies. There are comments from students about the learning they experienced. Although some of the language is quite academic, I recommend this book for anyone involved in education or training that wants to improve their practices - and isn't that all of us?
