Patti Berg is the BEST!!!!

"Stuck on You" contains one wild, leather-clad redhead,one ex-cop turned fishing instructor, four old ladies posing as "sleuths" and a whole lotta fun!!!! Just be sure to read this book when you have plenty of time on your hands..you won't want to put it down!!!!!! Also, read it before "And then He Kissed Me."

It took one day to read....

this mystery/comical collection by Patti Berg, which was also my first read by the author. Scarlett, a captivating woman with a head full of crazy red hair lives in the small town of Plentiful, WY. She owns an old Victorian which she houses her store offering murder/mystery books, tea and scones. She has several older women who are her friends who get together every week to discuss the latest in new releases. In this small town, these ladies are known as "The Sleuths" and if you are doing it, they will know about it. Trouble walks into town one day by the name of Logun Wolfe (and what a name that is). A tall, dark and incredibly gorgeous man turns the town upside down after a stranger collapses and dies in Scarlett's store. The stranger holds all the clues to questions that Scarlett has had all of her life, and it's up to "The Sleuths" to uncover the truth and to determine what Logun's motive with Scarlett could be. I don't get to finish many books in just one day, that's why I am giving "Stuck on You" ***** stars. It held my attention the entire time and left me wanting to turn the page to see what happens next. Even though I became bored with the love scenes towards the end, they will definetly make you blush.

Romance, mystery and laughs! This book has it all!

Mystery bookstore owner Scarlett O'Malley has an American flag charm dangling from her belly button ring, a mop of flaming red hair (which she thinks looks like an exploding firework), and a vivid imagination. She sees trouble lurking around every corner--and when a sexy and sensitive hunk (also an ex-cop) named Logan Wolfe shows up in town, she's sure he's out to scam all the wealthy widows in Plentiful, Wyoming.When another stranger drops dead in Scarlett's bookstore and the wealthiest widow in town disappears, Scarlett's friends (the Tuesday Morning Sleuth Society--3 very funny old ladies!) are sure Logan is responsible. But Scarlett doesn't want to believe a guy like Logan could be a killer, and after her belly button ring gets stuck to a button on his jeans, she sets out to find the truth (and gets into a lot of trouble--and fun--along the way).After "meeting" Logan Wolfe in Patti Berg's book SOMETHING WILD, I couldn't wait to read more about him in STUCK ON YOU. This book was a riot and shouldn't be missed.

Great Book!!!

This is my first book by Patti Berg, but it won't be my last. Las Vegas ex-cop Logan Wolfe escapes his demons and relocates to the peaceful little town of Plentiful, Wyoming. He keeps a low profile, only telling people that he's retired. He meets bookstore owner Scarlett O'Malley. She's instantly attracted to the gorgeous ex-cop and he's facinated by her sexy petite body and cute belly button ring. Scarlett on the other hand, along with four nosey elderly women who visits her bookstore regularly, has already been spying on Logan. They think he's a gigolo, because he's been seen with another wealthy elderly woman, (Opal). Then a unidentified woman visits Scarlett's store while she's hitting on Logan, in addition to urging him to purchase some books. After he leaves the unidentified woman collapes and dies. Scarlett's stepfather Adam Grant (Chief of Police) enters on to the scene to investigate. Scarlett has her suspicions about Adam because she believes he had something to do with her mother's death and she doesn't like him. Scarlett starts her own private investigating of Logan, because one of the elderly sleuths, tells her that she saw him carry something that might have been Opal's body wrapped in carpet out of the wealthy woman's house. (You'll definitely enjoy the chapter where Scarlett breaks into Logan's house escaping two Grizzly bears, and you'll also like the following chapter.) Now in addition to a dead unidentfied woman, Opal is missing and the sleuths think Logan killed her, but Scarlett is doubtful. Scarlett and Logan start a relationship and he opens up to her about his past, then they team up to figure out what the hell is going on in Plentiful, Wyoming. the Anyway, this book is funny, sexy, suspenseful and an all around good read, you will not want to put it down.

I'll be "Stuck" with a Patti Berg Anytime!

Always a huge fan of Patti Berg, I was in the grocery store the day Stuck on You was released. Unable to wait until I got home to start reading, I flipped open the book. What a treat--what a mistake. I couldn't stop. Scarlett O'Malley leapt off the page and into my heart in a way a heroine hasn't done for a long time. I found her irresistibly charming and utterly captivating. I stood in the aisle way reading with my seven-year-old tugging on my coat, trying to pull me away. He had almost succeeded (well, that and the threat of melted Cherry Garcia) when I hit the end of chapter one and met our hero Logan Wolfe (aka The Big Bad Wolfe). What a man! With great difficulty I finally managed to drag myself to the cash register and then hurry home. I threw the frozen lasagna in the oven (having of course earlier abandoned all thought of making the meatloaf and mashed potatoes I had originally went to the store to buy ingredients for) and delved right back in to Scarlett and Logan's world. STUCK ON YOU is a must read for anyone who loves heart-breakingly real characters, humor and poignancy, and romance with a touch of mystery. I know you will enjoy Scarlett and Logan as much as I did.
