Domestic violence has lasting effects on those it touches including the victims, their friends, and their loved ones. I wanted to bring attention to the topic while telling the story of strength and recovery. It also includes so many of my favorite things: Cooking competition, plenty of strong women, good food, a little humor, and a bit of football.
