Striking Poses by Richard Schickel (Softcover Edition)

This is one of my favorite books, the color photography is the most vivid, crisp and sharp that I have ever seen in ANY book of photographs, It really is Almost photograph quality (unheard of in the book/printing press format) You would have to see it to beleive it, this is one book in my Library that will be with me until i am gone, if you love the Hollywood of old and appreciate beautiful high quality color photography then you will want to get a copy of this large book for yourself.

Old Hollywood Glamour in full page glory

hardcover first edition book tribute to the great stars of Hollywood's Golden Age (1920s-1950s). This lavish, large-sized (9"x11") hardcover book features some of the most spectacular, high quality large photos printed from the original negative on heavy stock paper. Much better than normal photo books. It also comes in paperback and I believe was re printed in hardback at least once. No 1970s pictures thank goodness, as they aren't "old Hollywood". I highly recommend this book. It far surpassed my expectations. Most of the photos are full page.
