An aspiring disc jockey and an aspiring comedian find their comfortable relationship becomes quite stormy when they get their big change to pursue their dreams.
Ellen Conford's books aren't exactly problem stories--the kids described in them are usually white, middle-class, and from loving homes. But they're fun reads, and funny. A bit dated (the main character, Joey, compares herself to Rita Rudner, and the book cover has a very '70s-'80s look), but still sweet. I don't know what book the person who wrote the review "SADER THAN SAD" is referring to, as those aren't the names of the characters, but hey, everyone's a critic. I still love Ellen Conford's books and I'm out of college. They're just...nice. :)
