A great book in the series!

I've always enjoyed the Sweet Valley Twins books. They're so much fun to read, and they gave me an image of what middle school would be like. In this story, Mary Wallace, the twins' friend, is having difficulties in her life. Her mother is getting remarried, and that causes a lot of anxiety. Mary is worried about what her friends will think of her new stepfather, so she makes up lies about him. Eventually, though, with the help of her friends, Mary discovers her life isn't so bad after all. I enjoyed this book a lot. After Mary was so sad and depressed, she found some happiness. This book made me feel happy as well, and I think it's a good book in the series.

Sweet Valley Twins- Stretching The Truth

I really enjoyed this book. One of the reasons is because I used to read Sweet Valley Twins books when I was younger. It brings back old memories. I like how they make you suspect what Mary secret is by having her acting differently and having her friends treating her differently. Eventually, they gave her secret away which was that she didn't like her stepfather the way he was so she made up lies about him and made him sound so great. I think that Mary should have accepted her stepfather the way he was and not try to make him sound like some big superstar just to show off. I also think that Mary's mother should be more understanding because maybe then, they could change things and Mary could accept Tim, her stepfather, more. Mary should also learn that her mother loves her and that Tim does, too. She shouldn't be so uptight about having Tim in her life. Tim seems like a pretty great guy. I think that Mary's friends should have treated her nicer, even though they knew that she was having a suprise party. Mary realizes that there is a place in her heart for Tim and that he really does care about her. I believe that she shouldn't be so worried about what her friends will think about the boat after her mother and Tim had spend so much time making it perfect for her. I really enjoyed this book and would definitely read it again. I recommend this book to people who like a little bit of suspense. I give this book four stars.
