Great read!

This book is written very well. It kept me guessing as to what was happening. The main character kept being seen at places she was not and it kept me reading. I finished the book within 2 days. It is a must-read book.

Terrifying - I Kept Reading On and On

Lois Duncan's Stranger with My Face is a story of a girl who finds something evil who has taken on her identity. Well-written and descriptive, this book kept me reading and reading. I finished it within hours.

Suspenseful and full of mystery

Stranger with my Face is about a seventeen year old Navajo girl named Laurie who was adopted at birth by a loving family. She is popular and very kind. Little does she know that she had a twin. Lia, her twin, appears in places by astral projecting creating the illusion that Laurie is where she isn't. Through the story, Lia tries to mess up her twin's friendships, relation ships, and finally her whole life. During this ordeal, Laurie meets new friends who help her through everything when her other friend wouldn't even believe her. Laurie not only sloves a mystery, but she finds her true self and her backround. She also learns the valuble lesson of friendship. I would definately recomend this book to teens. Those who like mystery and suspense would like it as well as those who don't like to read. This book will get you hooked for sure! Lois Duncan writes it so you get sucked in within the first chapter. Try it!

Lois Duncan's Best

One thing I love about Lois Duncan's books is they have never disappointed me yet. I love every single one of her books, and I can't say that about any other author. Stranger With My Face was the first one I read. On the back, it sounded like an easy read, like Point Horror or something but it was nothing of the kind. The story of Laurie and Lia is unforgettable and will linger in your mind for a long time. It is a very thought-provoking book and one I have read over and over again. One thing I really like in this book is the 'Eternity' quotation, I can't remember it all but that quotation made me think. Read this book, that is all I can say. You should definitely read this book.

Great Supernatural Thriller

few writers spook me like Duncan does. Stranger with my Face was the first book of hers I read. Although the actual plot doesn't thrill, its the depth of the bad character's evilness and the manipulating game she plays on the main character that really makes this story good. Also, there is romance, family bonding and loyalty among friends that makes this book even better. If you like romance, spooky thrillers and happy endings, I recommend this book highly.

This Is One Of The Best Books I Ever Read!

This book "Stranger With My Face", by Lois Duncan, is an extermely good book. It's a great book for practically anyone with moods varing from romance to suspense and mystery. I would reccommend this book to anyone who does not like to read or anyone who has a hard time finding good reading material. I also found this book to be extreamly addicitve....once you start it's hard to stop. Lois Duncan is a great author, and she really did a great job on writing this.
