This is a little book of easy to read stories from the UK-based publishing house Usborne. Geared towards the 5 to 8 age group, the language is simple, the print is large, and each page has big colorful cartoons that make the story even easier to understand. There are three stories in this book, and as the title says, they're all about robots. The Terrible Tidybot Robot Robbery Robot Racers The first story is about a little boy who would rather play computer games than tidy his room. (Nothing unusual there) Lazy Luke goes on-line, and sees a pop-up advertisement for a free trial on a robot cleaner. Soon after delivery his room is spotless, but then things go very wrong. The second story is about a hard-working construction robot that is robot-napped by a man with a plan for a bank robbery. The third story is a robot version of "The Tortoise and The Hare". Nicely bound and presented, including a ribbon for book-marking and cover art with shiny bits, this would be a good one to get for little boys who normally wouldn't be caught dead reading a book.
