Very harsh difficult to read stories about the realities of AIDS
Published by Bayou Boy , 3 years ago
I have a very hard time reading books about AIDS. I am an AIDS survivor. I tested HIV+ in 1985 and went full blown in 1995. My whole adult life has revolved around AIDS. This book is incredibly varied in the approaches the writers take in dealing with this subject. But deal with it they do...some stories are about fighters, some about people ready to give up. Some are about denial. Some violent, some heartbreaking. Just like the myriad groups of people that deal with this, there are incredibly varied stories about this disease. A must read.
