Good, but not for young kids

We got this for our kids, ages 7 and 4, for Christmas this year based on a friend's recommendation. What I didn't realize until we got the book and opened it, is that it's recommended for ages 8 and up, and I would agree with that assessment. The stories are well written, but right now they are over the heads and too detailed for my kids, so unfortunately we are not reading the books at the moment.
