Great for the whole school

learned a lot to help me with my own emotional intelligence while using this book with my students. These are life skills that everyone should learn. I like the way that the book is organized - first it gives activities to learn the skills, then it suggests ways to practice the skills in the classroom and in the whole school.The students in my classes are building success in these skills. We have weekly class meetings in which they are fully involved in class decision making. This takes a load off of me and allows the students to be responsible for what they say and do!I would like to see my whole school adopt the program described in this book. It certainly has merit!
