A practical, holistic view to overcome tiredness

This book is for anyone who has ruled out a medical cause for their fatigue and wants to examine their life to see what they can do to help themselves feel less tired. It contains a gold mine of ideas and techniques that one can put into practice immediately. It is easy to read and summarizes a myriad of ways one may be feeling tired and how this can be targeted from many different angles. It contains an excellent overview of helpful techniques examining ways to overcome tiredness from a physical and mental health point of view, as well as in one's spiritual life. The authors did a great job of offering pithy, practical techniques from Western and Eastern medicine, psychotherapy, and East/West spirituality, for the mind, body, and spirit. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with feeling tired.

Simplify, simplify, simplify

A quick read and a good book to begin learning some techniques for simplifying your life, finding balance, and feeling less tired. The authors are clear that, barring a medical condition requiring treatment by a physician, fatigue can be addressed through an understanding of the mind-body connection. The authors offer some very practical ideas for stress reduction and include a discussion of nutrition and how diet affects our mood and energy-level. If you're interested in feeling better, less tired, and are ready and willing to change your life, this book is a good place to begin the journey. Many of the ideas put forth in this book are also found in Dr. Andrew Weil's 8 Weeks to Optimum Health.

As coauthors we are very disappointed with the large number of editorial errors accidentally inserted into the printed book after our final review of proofs. One of the most glaring mistakes was the misspelling of George's degree, which should read "Psy.D." (Doctor of Psychology), on both the front cover and title page.
