Everything from seeds to nuts.

This is a great book for "backyard birding". My wife borrowed it from the library several times before we bought our own. Excellent guide to setting up feeders, types of feed to attract different species, as well as a general bird identification guide. Lots of pictures to show grandkids. Unfortunately, it is not currently (4/09) in print, so you'll have to find one.
