By far the best book I've read this year!!

This book was just what the doctor ordered for this stressed out, over-worked thirty-something gal. It will have you laughing one minute, crying the next, and leave you awestruck at the realization that we really can stay young forever.

How to Re-capture Childhood Joy: 101

Becky Freeman has a way of looking at life and all its joys and heartaches in a fresh and meaningful way. She has brought this trait to her book Still Lickin' the Spoon. She shows us that no matter what life is throwing our way, we can find a reason to rejoice in the blessings in our life. She writes with humor and compassion and yes, childlike wonder. If we can all learn to look at life this way, our collective stress levels should drop dramatically. I can't wait for the next Becky Freeman book.

A fresh, light-hearted celebration of busy, modern life.

I am a long time Becky Freeman fan. Having read and enjoyed all her books, Still Lickin' the Spoon is my favorite to date -- also the one containing the message needed most in my own life. In this book, Becky challenged and inspired me to slow down, kick back and savor the smallest of joys. Reading her words showed me the importance of regularly putting down my To Do list, taking a deep breath and having some fun. Chapter 17, titled Jesus Is Easier to Love Than His Kids is one that I have returned to over and over again. It contains briiliant honesty, wisdom and encouragement helpful to anyone struggling with/trying to find their place in organized religion. Once again, Becky has managed to sneak in important truths between the covers a book full of joy and split-your-side humor. Still Lickin' the Spoon is a great read.
