A lesson in how to be rebellious, a nonconformist and yet channel it in ways that change the world f

To the young person surveying the computing landscape, it would appear that Microsoft under Bill Gates started and led the revolution in personal computers. Given that Gates is so often touted for his immense wealth, there seems little room for a realistic appraisal of the role that Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak played in the creation of the personal computer. This book, written at the level of the young person, is designed to set that record straight. In simple terms, the lives of both of them are described, how rebellious they were in their youth, yet how effectively they channeled it into action. That message is a very significant one for young people, in that it demonstrates that rebellion and nonconformity can be a very good thing if it is used in the proper ways. These two men are rightfully considered to be heroes by a large group of people in the computing field and this book explains the reasons for those beliefs.

Hmmmmmm

Being an advid reader I knew it was just a matter of time before Steve & Steve would be known via the sanitized filter of our collective cultural hubris machine. Still having the founders of Apple held up in this light will produce interesting effects upon Generation's Y (a name I dislike) when they get old enough to read the in depth historys. This one fact is indisputable, they worked hard!
