The Partnership

Foley and Moss are partners in a successful small business, making plaster pixies for the tourist trade. Foley is the artistic member of the partnership; he thinks up the ideas and designs and has pretensions to even greater artistry in his cherub lamps and fixtures. Moss, the seemingly quiet one who supplied the capital for the venture, manufactures them. Barry Unsworth sets his scene magnificently--a Cornish village, Lanruan, thriving on specious tourism, and its local characters: Graham, the primitive painter; Bailey, the loud-mouthed Northerner who comes to Lanruan to make his fortune; Barbara, the nearest thing the village possesses to a bad girl; and above all Gwendoline, who, inadvertently, begins the rift in the partnership between Foley and Moss. The Partnership is a disquieting, darkly funny tale about hidden desires and the unspoken attachments we have for one another.

One of the best reads....

I read some of the reviews of this beautifully written story and anyone who did not like Eric just simply does not understand men. Heather Graham has masterfully created a world so visible to her reader, you can taste the salt in the air and feel the eyes of her character looking into your soul. The sex sizzles and yet is artistic literature all at the same time - no easy task. I fell in love with Eric just as Rhiannon...

I owned this book and lost it

I had this book in a different cover which was probably a different issuing of it and like it a lot. I have read it several times and when I lost it was in the middle of reading it again. I am a romance novel person so if you are this is a very good story.

A GREAT READ!

This was Heather Grahams second book in the Viking Series. First was Golden Surrender (which I thought was the best out of the three), Second is this book...The Vikings Woman, and Third is The Lord of the Wolves. This Series has been my favorite series for a long time now. Rhiannon is forced to marry Eric, a very demanding, powerful Viking. These two fight each other throughout the entire book almost. Not until the end they...

very good but not a 'sweet' romance

This was the first book i read by Heather Graham and i absolutely loved it!! I enjoyed this book for a variety of reasons Firstly even though Eric is a very rough and dominant character he never rapes Rhiannon although in some scenes you would almost expect him to. Both Eric and Rhiannon have very strong persionalities that clash all the time and most of the book revolves around their fights so if you are the type of person...

Great Story!

Don't let the title of this book cause you not to read it. It was an ecellent story. It was erotic and sensual. I like a good story that is well described and includes good descriptive love scenes. This had both. It is very worth reading. Don't miss out.
