Another Karen Witemeyer Gem

I am a big fan of romantic westerns. It begins with a kidnapped Preacher, Crockett Archer, who is very likeable and quite good looking. He is presented to Joanna Robbins, for her birthday, by her reformed outlaw father, Silas. From there this book gets better with each chapter. I consider a book quite good when I hate to put it down at night. This was one of those books! I highly recommend it.

Crockett Archer is on his way to his first preaching position and he can't wait. But suddenly the train he's on is robbed! Of him! The robbers came on the train and kidnapped him! What could they want with Crockett? Is Crockett Joanna Robbins' answer to prayer? Is he just what the town needs to bring them all together? Closer to God? I loved this second book in the Archer Series! Karen Witemeyer knows just how to have Crockett preach his sermon, without you thinking she's putting too much of it in the book. There's a perfect balance which makes for a lovely, yet inspiring read you won't want to put down!
