An unexpected, intelligent, and wild read from start to finish

This is an easy read, so that was lovely. It is written from a first-person perspective, so the story is written just as someone might talk to you.
The main character is also someone established in her community. This means that we don't spend a lot of time trying to explain Why things are, but we understand that this is the new normal. This is how every day goes for these people.
Honestly, I love this book. I read the book first and then looked up the podcast it is based on. The book is my favorite, as we get to read a few extra tidbits about how the character thinks. Especially as you experience this dawning realization about the importance of the distinction of "You" "Me" and "We".
Was it anxiety-causing at times? Yes, but not in a creepy way. Moreso in the 'maybe everyone has access to all of my data' kind of way. And overall, it has a satisfying conclusion, that left me simultaneously content with what had happened, while also still making up stories in my head about what would happen next.
I absolutely plan on buying several copies and gifting them to people. An absolute delight.
