Gotta Read 'em all!!!

I am currently reading the latest by John & Ritz, and...It's another hit. Pastor Merci is my dream pastor! I love the serenity John adds to her character. Ritz adds a smooth read, that flows beautifully. I can hardly wait until the next sequel! The Merci Series is something anyone can read. You won't be disappointed.

Such a wonderful gift!

I love this book. As a mature woman, I have found little to read that pertains to all things in one. A sage sister who is a minister, but allows her human side to show up at all times. Reading this book ( Stay Out Of The Kitchen) based on the popular song by Miss Mable John and Sanctified Blues, I could see my own life right before my eyes. The writing is spiced with love and life and having just lost a son, five months ago, I was ready for reading that holds a great measure of hope. The character, Albertina Merci moves along through her life in a saucy,wise and wonderful way. Did I say wonderful again? I love these books so much that I can barely wait for the next one out in June. PLEASE consider reading both books as well as catching the movie," Honeydripper" which features this multi-talented woman. I hope to meet Miss John one day. I live in Minnesota and do not think the movie will be here, but I will keep my eyes open for nearby showings. Beautiful

The book "Stay Out of the Kitchen" is an awesome book to read. The story flows that you feel each character as you read the story. I just love the flow of the story because of the peace with abundance of love that flows through the lines. To "Stay Out of the Kitchen" means we are to let go and let God do His thing. When we intervene we intend to miss things up but God loves stills avail. The authors need to continue writing with the divine gift that God has granted them with.

It's funny, it's sad, it's moving, it's all so inspiring

I loved this novel. I felt I was with the characters and I grew to really love them.....especially Pastor Albertina or is it really the author Dr. Mable John? Makes you wonder how much is real and how much is fiction. Grab a beach towel, lay out and finish this one. Can't wait until the movie! It's better than chocolate! Pam Perry Chocolate Pages Reviewer
