Super Stuff!

First off, I enjoyed the original. This rewrite has produced a great book that held my interest from page one. In fact my wife went crook on me for not hearing her until I had finished the book. The action is thrilling and the technical details superb and consistent. You can't help but identify with the hero. A well crafted book.

Great hero

I really liked how strong some of the female characters were - sometimes that mix of power and intelligence is missing in many scifis. This is a good book - in fact I think it's a rewrite by the author who published it close to 20 year ago. The rewrite was fantastic. The good guy isn't perfect and we are along for the ride, but he saves the day and gets the bad buys. There are also mysterious aliens which adds a nice twist. If you like a good old fashion science fiction - buy this book!

Take a spin!

Starspinner is just a plain ol' good read. I enjoyed our flawed hero. His heroics didn't just extend to saving the galaxy as we know it, but also dealing with a nasty addiction. The bad guys are really bad. It's an enjoyable, fast paced scifi adventure.
