Very Well Done.

Well Done! Very well done. The author has managed to thoughtfully and plausibly integrate into his story a large collection of great Masters, gurus, Druids, legendary knights, elves, faeries, angels, sex, violence, savage action, death, murder and galactic politics...all woven carefully together to make absolute Cosmic sense. Although, it was almost a distraction to read about many people wearing straggly beards and robes. Golden Chain Mail yes, but ankle-length robes are an anomaly for omnipotent beings who could just as easily manifest a comfortable pair of Jeans. Each appearance of one of these elements presents a learning experience in metaphysical operations for the reader. No, not about chanting to candle-light to do magic spells or drug induced reverie; just plain good sense and an exciting yarn which makes one stop and think. - Actually, I had to stop and do the exercises several times myself to see how they worked. Fascinating. Notably absent were the Maha Chohan, Idries Shah, Third Stage Lensman Christopher K. Kinnison, Urusvati, and The Egyptian Ennead. It would have been interesting to hear what they had to say too. Many Masters consider Waste to be a sin, so, reader beware...This book is definitely a "Call" for whoever finds it in their hands.

I completely agree about this book with said above reviewer. This book helped me see a new perspective which I feel has changed my life in many ways. Simply put, it is a GREAT story, I identified with the characters very much. The characters are everyday people who have been friends for years. Although their lives have taken different turns (one of them works in a bar, another majors in physics, the other has a low level job in an advertising firm) the three have stayed friends and made a ritual out of playing a role playing game at least once a week. Then.. They all start getting restless, feeling like there is more to life than work, sex, girlfriends, partying etc etc. Feeling like they are missing out on something bigger than what we see in front of us. From here you follow them as they learn about themselves, getting in touch with their inner selves through meditation, and above all - realizing that being positive in ALL aspects of their lives is the way to go! This book helped me realize how much BETTER life is when you are positive about everything! Great read.

The best Book I ever read.

This is nothing short of the most facinating, wonderfull, inlightning and funny book I've ever read! The characters are more than plausible and I can certainly identify with their questions and following progress and adventure. Unlike many of the other so called spiritual novels I've read, "Starbrow" is a real page-turner. I understood and even cared about the characters which is usually almost impossible, when the book aims to be inlightning and funny. The best way to sum up, I guess, is siply this; I feel my life is infinetly better after reading "Starbrow". If it was up to me this book should be prescribed reading in every school worldwide. "Starbrow" vastly improved my outlook on the world we live in, the people I know(and don't know) but more inportantly the way I see myself. This can be either a brilliant sci-fi/fantacy book, the greatest gift you ever got to help you improve your perception of you and everyone else or both! It's up to you. I've read this book at least five times now (first ed)and I still find new knowledge and meanings. This book really did change my life unlike all the numerous self-help books and/or spiritual instruction manuals I've read the past ten years. Read this book! It is truely unique.
