So a Jedi isn't Jesus I guess but in a Galaxy far far away he might just as well be.

So no longer a Prequel I believe this story is the best one for little people and despite being grown I have always liked Jar Jar although Darth Maul seems cartoonish. Them Tuskens might just be Radioheads but wouldn't sound evil enough.

Beware: My Dvd Set Was Missing The Feature Film On Disc 1!!

I liked the beginning of the film, because it is not like STAR WARS A NEW HOPE! Sure we see the opening crawl, but unlike A New Hope, no spaceship is being chased and attacked by another one... "Trust your instincts.... feel the FORCE, don't think." a line that has never been said before by a JEDI MASTER It's TOO BAD, that the DVD set I ordered is missing the feature film!!+??

Not what I ordered

The DVD that I received did not have the movie with it. We had ordered Star Wars 1 the Phantom menace. What I received was disc 2 of a set that had deleted scenes and other miscellaneous material. It did not have the movie on it.

Quite possibly one of the greatest letdowns of all time

Decades of waiting. People camped out at theaters for weeks to get tickets. And he gave us wise-cracking droids and Jar Jar. Oy vey. Neesom and McGregor do their best to elevate the material. Darth Maul is iconic. The pod race is exhilarating. But overall it's a massive dud.
