The time ratings introduce another level of challenge

Although I am a mathematician, I have never developed a fondness for Sudoku puzzles, my preferred method of engaging in mild intellectual pursuits is mazes. I spent hours and hours working through them when I was young and have never lost my interest. Therefore, this book occupied my time and was challenging, not because the mazes were that difficult, but because there was a rated time limit on each of them. Never one to resist a challenge of this type, I timed myself in my pursuit of the solutions. In nearly all cases, my experience enabled me to solve the maze in less time than the stated limit, but they are not pushovers by any means. After doing the first few, I looked for the more complex route rather than a simple one. This actually sped up the search for the solution, this strategy kept me out of some sections of the maze. All of the mazes are figures such as a planetarium, letter or symbol. If you are a fan of mazes, this book is a nice challenge that you will enjoy.
