I Loved this book , I am a big Sandra Brown Reader and I have almost all of her books (that I collect). Sandra Brown will move you when you read her books.....she can make you mad, sad, and make you fall in love with the words...and most of all the characters in all of her books. I am not going to tell you about this book, because I think you would like to read it for yourself. All I can say is that there is not one Sandra Brown book that I have not Loved!!!!and could not put down.....

Standoff is a Standout !

Typical of Sandra Brown, the only complaint I could find with "Standoff" was . . . it was too short! Tiel Mc Coy is the type of character you want to really get to know, and once she and the handsome and mysterious Doc band together to help two troubled teens out of a suicide pact and a seemingly no-win situation with family interference, we get the best of Sandra Brown's expertise - romance. Standoff is a page turner, right from the beginning. Each chapter ends with a hook that will have you rushing to turn the page. Ms. Brown can always be depended upon to give us a sharp,intricate story, and a beleif in the power of true love. Standoff is no exception. Don't think about it. Get it.

Once again, Sandra Brown comes through with a real page turner! I was actually late for work, because I had to find out what happened! Make sure when you start reading, you have time to finish because you will not be able to put this book down! You will fall in love with Sabra and Ronnie. There is everything you could want in a book. Suspense, romance, surprises, deep characters! Check it out! You won't be dissappointed.

Intense Thriller

Ms. Brown's best book ever.... the book grabs you from the start, and keeps you reading as the characters develop into people easy to identify with and cheer for. This is an fast-paced intense thriller, a great book to read over a weekend.
