Judging a Book By Its Cover

I am on vacation and foudn myself in Strand books where I picked up "Stand Up, Ernie Baxter: You're Dead" solely based on its interesting cover, and I am glad I did. 16 hours later I have finished it, and I highly reccomend this book. The book is told from 3 different points of view, Ernie Baxter talking from heaven in the first person, and omniscient narrator, and the letters left behind on Ernie's laptop computer. Ernie tells the readers of life in heaven and we follow the events on Earth of Ernie's mother and former high school sweetheart. Adam Voith is very funny, but I was surprised and touched by the ending. I think I will read this book again on the bus ride home.

Adam Voith's book is as touching as it is funny. Do yourself a favor and read this book.
