sexyyyyyyyyyyyy!

This is great stuff. If you like Olde Englande, tightly laced up corsets, voluminous petticoats, and handsome men in tight breeches wearing velvet masks riding around like Dick Turpin satisfying every woman in sight then this is for you. It's 'Forever Amber' with full-on sex scenes. I loved it, it was a total turn-on and I'd recommend it to anyone. Superb. Reading the pages is like actually being there with all the sensations, sights and smells of sex in the seventeen-forties. YUM.

Absolutely outstanding

This was my first Black Lace purchase, and I was very very impressed. If you are interested in all out erotica at its finest, this is an excellent book to whet your appetite! I highly recommend this story if you're looking to add some spice!

The most memorable Black Lace book I have read.

I am surprised to have found writing of this quality under the Black Lace imprint; whilst the great majority of the Black Lace erotic novels I have read have at the very least been well written, Stand and Deliver sets new standards which I hope are maintained in future Black Lace offerings. Helena Ravenscroft expertly re-creates the atmosphere of 18th Century england, and within an unusually well-crafted plot finds opportunity for some of the most inventive and arousing erotic writing I have had the pleasure (!) to read. I look forward to more work by this author; her book moves the Black Lace imprint into a new class of erotic writing, and I wholeheartedly recommend it, to those new to erotica and those like myself who have read a great deal of erotic fiction old and new.

Saucy

This is the first book of its type that i have read, and I have to admit it was very good. The book is very steamy, and i managed to get through it in a night. The story line isn't bad detailing the search for a lost will, and the ending is highly amusing. The errotica parts are very, well, errotic and there are lots of them, so if they're the sole reason your reading this book, you won't be dissapointed. I hope to read the authors other books when they come out, and i hope there as good as this debut. Summary: the bad guy is very bad and the good guy ain't so good. Lydia the heroine isn't exactly completly naive herself. being alternativly innocent and maniplative, sometimes both at the same time. All in all a pretty good book, and highly reccomended.

EXTREMELY HOT

I loved this book. It is perhaps the best black lace book I've read(and I've read several). Lots of really kinky action and a well-developed plot, although that's not really so important. The ending was a bit disappointing, but all in all, this book was scrumptious, and I'm going to share it with my boyfriend. If you like this one, you'll probably also like Hostage To Fantasy and Darker Than Love, also from the Black Lace Series.
