Cool!

When Stacey joins the cheerleading squad, she becomes a cheerleader. Stacey meets Robert here too. But what will the BSC think of her when she joined the squad?

Fantastic!

This is my favourite BSC book and I never get tired of reading it! Stacey is my favourite Babysitters and I love the fact that she finds some friends outside the BSC and I love Robert. He sounds so great! I enjoyed the plot and was surprised by the ending! If you're not sure which BSC books to read this is definitely one you should!

Stacey and the Cheerleaders--Loved It!

"Stacey and the Cheerleaders". What does that make you think of? Well, if you haven't read it, you could be thinking, Stacey is friends with the cheerleaders and maybe even, Does she want to become one? That's what I thought before I picked it up. Well, after I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. It's about Stacey McGill, a member of the Baby-Sitters Club. She becomes friends with some of the cheerleaders (including Sheila McGregor, who is a cheerleader in her homeroom). They say, maybe she should tryout (because they had an opening spot). Well she gets all pumped up, trained by her friend Jessi Ramsey, and tries out. Her new boyfriend, Robert, who is on the basketball team may seem partial when he says he thinks she's the best a cheerleader could get. The members of the BSC think so too. So she tries out. Does she make it? I don't want to ruin the end for you, but you should know that even if it may seem unexpected it's a pretty happy ending! You will probably be surprised at the ending. I gave this book 4 stars because it kind of stereotyped cheerleaders. Not all cheerleaders are rude, obnoxious, and mean to "lesser" people. Ann M. Martin (the author) seemed to be extremely judgemental on that note. But this book will hold your attention.

A New Romance for Stace

In Stacey and the Cheerleaders, Stacey gets a new romance...and his name is Robert! Go Stacey! Plus, she tries out for the cheerleading squad and hangs with the "popular group". But when Stacey doesn't make it because one of the cheerleaders likes her boyfriend, then things start to get outta hand. Robert does something drastic, and to find out what it is you'll have to read the book.

A Wonderful BSC Book!

I'm my opinion, 'Stacey and the Cheerleaders' is the best book about Stacey. I think that it was unfair that Stacey got cut from the cheerleading squad just because the other cheerleaders were jealous. Way to go Ann M. Martin! I wish that all of your books were as good as this one! - J.C.P.
