Great Insight Into the Life of St. Therese of Lisieux!

I love this book. It offers a glimpse into the life of St. Therese of Lisieux. The reader can better understand her as well as get a glimpse of her humanity. I highly recommend all of her writings!

My favorite book

I'd like especially to recommend this book to those people who (1) believe that Therese's theology is naive and consequently not interesting; and (2) feel that Therese is somehow unworthy of high honor paid her. In the first place, there's nothing naive about the faith of a young woman who admits being subject to "the worst temptations of atheism." In the second place, Therese really did die a martyr's death. In her perfect submission to God's will, she is transfigured and triumphs over death. Reading these last conversations is at once edifying, and inspiring, and deeply humbling. For those who are still skeptical, please read and you'll understand why a Pope called Therese the greatest of all modern saints.

Utterly Fascinating

This is truly one of the most fascinating books in the world. The Martin sisters wrote down literally every word Therese said in her last six months. "O to die her death!"--"Then live her life."

Completes the "Saintly" nature of the Little Flower.

This view of St. Therese completes the whole picture of her sainlty nature. This is where her heroism shine forth and her total trust in God's Divine Mercy is most evident. Very though provoking.
