Excellent travel guide to St. Petersburg

I carried this book everywhere I went in St. Petersburg and found it to be invaluable. I also greatly enjoyed the fascinating historical sidebars, which I read in the evenings in the hotel. Great information! Highly recommended.

Great guide to city

The City Guide to St. Petersburg is perfect for travelers who like to see the city on foot. It provides a great snapshot of the city's history and offers details on the main attractions (which is a huge help, since few signs are in English). It breaks the city down into walkable sectionsto help build itineraries and help you understand what's around you along the way. It also includes a great foldout map featuring top restaurants than can tuck into any pocket or purse.
