Pretty good

I am no statistics whiz but this book helped me do some good things with SPSS for a research project I had to do. I sat down behind my computer and followed the steps in the book. Lots of advice and clear screanshots. Although the book is for SPSS 9, 10 and 11, I have been using SPPS 14 but this (so far) does not seem to be a problem. Only once (again, so far) did I encounter a problem that I felt the book didn't explain clearly (this had to do with missing values). But, in the end I figured it out. I guess this book is good for anyone trying to use SPSS for social research who needs to learn the basic techniques. Why 4 stars instead of 5? I am hesitant to give high marks, and in this case I don't know enough about SPSS to know if the book is missing crucial information or giving me bad advice.
