Excellent!

Of all the books I have read on Christian spirituality, including several by more well known authors, this is the one I have found to be most inspirational and most enjoyable. Rarely have I found books on spirituality that I can't put down. Bruce does and excellent job of crafting his stories in a way that enables them to fit together with the overall message. Each story is carefully selected and is fun to read. The honesty with which he speaks of his own faith and tells stories relating to his own life is wonderful and adds to the richness of the book. Bruce's honesty helps the reader to feel connected as though he is merely one of us, as opposed to many authors who give an air of superiority.

An inspirational piece readers of modern spiritual literature will find thoughtful.

Life Challenging

I read this book in January 2007...I know it will be in my top 10 for 2007...no question about it. Bruce Main is a superb story teller who has the uncanny gift of combining stories of a servant's life (his) with faith truths that ONLY one who has lived them is able to share. The following quote really captures the essential essence of this book for me: "Sure, Jesus used words to teach His disciples about loving God and loving their neighbor. But consistently we see Him making a point of finding ordinary people who put His teachiongs into practice, then using those people to illustrate His truths. Jesus knew the difference between words and the implementation of words." p. 199. This book will not only challenge your beliefs, it will challenge your way of living. Thank You Bruce.

Absolutely fantastic! A very different presepective. To know that God is constantly at work is one thing in concept, but to realise and have a feel of the presence of God in every day ordinaries is another. He wants to come thru powerfully if you allow him to use you for his purpose. Thanks for writing a greate book KCR

Bruce does a wonderful job with this book! You won't want to put it down! There's proof that miracles do happen and God is definitely working among us. We just have to slow down and start noticing how God is working. I've learned how to "Spot the Sacred".............
