Sweet & Darling Children 's Book

I love all the "Spot" the puppie books and have been collecting them as hardback, boardbooks and the occasional paperback since the middle and late 1970s. My children, one of each, and now my grandchildren love these books.I got 2 introduction books and each had a mini plush Spot doggie. I spent much time snuggling with them, and now I have a larger version on my shelf with my other stuffed animals. I loved reading these stories to my children; teaching them to read. Now I love reading these with my grandchildren. They come over with their Spot 🐶 and want me to help them learn from my library. This was a great idea and Spot books are wonderful for all children of all ages!!!!!!!

I like the fact that it explains throughly the ways spot loves his mom even if it something so simple.

Eric Hill has it good

My daughter loves Spot. God knows why, as the drawing and the storylines tend to be pretty mediocre. But she does really really love all of Eric Hill's books, including this one. She is 3 y.o. and has had it for over a year, and still requests it during reading time. The simple wording and pictures allow her to "read" it to herself when I'm not available to do so. It's like those Maisey books. We adults just don't get it, but will your kid love it? Almost certainly.

Sweet Story

We love Spot. This is another charming book in the board book collection. (no flaps). Not quite as good as "Spot Loves his Daddy," but the kids still love it.

Great Book for those under 2

I bought this book for my son who is 17 mos. old because he had the Spot Halloween book already and just loves it. He loves for us to read it over and over and over again and just loves to flip the pages....The colors are cheery and bright and the story is quick and easy
