Purposeful relationships

A woman does not need to be a physical mother to be a spiritual mother to a younger woman, she simply needs to be further along the path of maturity. Approaching the subject from both the younger woman’s and the older woman’s perspective, Spiritual Mothering breaks down and demystifies the process, showing through Scripture and modern examples how women can have Titus 2 relationships. This book encourages, enables, and equips women to have purposeful relationships that result in strong, Bible-based women whose ripple effect can change their families, churches and communities.

A timely work

This is an excellent book for a Womens' Bible study or a general lesson/study. There is currently a great need for such a topic, as church family is often the only family nearby... Marilyn Baker OPC

Mrs. Hunt addresses the subject of biblical mentoring with passion and grace. This book is not merely a "how-to", but provides a strong foundation for loving relationships between women, with God's glory being the chief end and highest goal of such relationships.

Inspires you both to seek and offer spiritual mothering

The command in Titus 2 for older women to teach younger women has long been on my heart and I have desired to reach out beyond my own daughters, but have not often had the opportunity to develop such a relationship with others. I wish older women had reached out to me when I was younger and did not realize how much I needed their help and encouragement. This book is great for women of all ages. It encourages the younger to seek the wisdom of the older, and the older to share what God has taught them. We are starting group studies of this book in our church.

Challenging yet Refreshing

This text provides a good example of how one can be a mentor no matter what stage of life you are at or your giftedness. Encourages you to get involved in another's life and be a godly influence. Great for women's study groups/discussion.
