Photographs of the earth's most strong and graceful creatures

Title says it all, really. It is divided into chapters focusing on Arabians, Ibirian breeds, drafts, etc. And the photographs of these magnificent creature are divine. Interesting info on the breeds and their influences as well. This is one of the best books on horses I've ever had. Too bad this book doesn't have more ratings on it. A firm five stars.

A beautiful book

It really is a shame that this book doesn't have more positive reviews. The Photos within are breathtaking, and the text is very well written. For the price this book is an absolute steal!

Stunning Photography of the Horse Breeds of Today

What's not to love - how could anyone, looking at the sumtuous photographs in this book, fail to be rendered speechless with admiration and adoration? The photographer and author do an excellent job conveying the "spirit of the horse." Differences in terrain, climate and man's requirements have shaped and developed a wide variety of types and breeds of horse existing today, most of which have been extravagantly portrayed in this book. Wonderful photos are catagorized in chapters by region. Some examples of chapters include Wild Horses, Arabian Horses, Iberian Horses, Horses of Europe, and Horses of the Americas. A must-have for equine photography book collectors.
