One to keep for years

I've had this books for years, and I've cooked a number of recipes from it. (Notably, the turkey sausage gumbo is a favourite around the holidays). But more importantly, he inspires the reader with ideas for parties. I am planning to use his 'perfect wedding cake' for my wedding in Florida this summer; it's the most beautiful cake I've ever seen. 'Nough said. Go buy it.

Gracious Entertaining

I found this book a great source for holiday entertaining. There are many recipes that are easy enough for everyday dining as well. Mr. Hadamuscin also present a lovely setting for the great food and lots of "down home" stories to go with each occasion. I have bought several of his books and was pleased with each book.

The one cookbook I turn to again and again!

The gorgeous photos make you want to read this book cover to cover. It is filled with heavenly recipes that (so far) have turned out beautifully. Of my rather large collection of various cookbooks, this is the one I continue to turn to for the most reliable and delicious dishes.
