I've given up any sort of 'belief' in politics. Who would continue to see the evidence of the dismantling of our democracy not think such? Could there be something bigger going on? A dismantling? By the oligarchs? the unaesthetic? What I think it going on is a dismantling of the notion of 'public' by the oligarchy. This much is so, and way before the actual dismantling of the value of the human life in a big 'post peak oil die-off'. ...Though they've tried that overseas. ISIS is an example of armed testosterone not taking this message too easy. Now it has come home. Now some machine politicians, demagogues, have kept trying to influence the poor of any race to think of the poor another race, or select races, wish to prevent them from some sort of 'modernity' in advancement. the tasks and the promises of modernity, that of machine and mechanism of emancipation, has sputtered and died.
