The world dosen't get wierder than this

Set in what seems to be a futuristic UK (being naieve and in the US this is my assumption) Spaceache paints a rich alternative future that gleams of cyberpunk and wierd. The star of our story decides that the world is no good and chooses to have herself matter-condensed and cryogenically frozen, to be shipped into orbit around the planet until such time as the world is a wonderful place again. Throw in a misfit crew of the transport shuttle, planetary alignment, and other dimensions, and you have Spaceache. Hauntingly written; so much so that after my first wearing the covers off of the book fifteen years ago I had to find another copy this year. "As above, so below."
