Nothing a Little Tea Can’t Help

Southern Trappings This one kind of freaked me out. I was left to wonder if Amy planned on killing of Axel. I wondered who Pepper’s next husband would be. Rufus? It could happen, but it’d take a really long time for Pepper to get to that point where she was actually going to allow another man into her heart. Betty… She’s losing her magical touch which means she’ll be banned from Magnolia Cove forever. Will Pepper, Amelia, and Cordelia find her and take care of her? Betty sure doesn’t need magic to have spunk and fire in her soul! And Gizzy… I always have in the front of my mind she is part witch, so will her powers show through and she’ll save her dad’s or mom’s life? Randall, who’s his dad? Heck, who’s his mom?! Will he be the vessel the curse will fall upon in order to save Pepper or Axel? And who will his new parents be? Cordelia and Larkin? Amelia and Sherman? Betty and Shoo?! Or is Randall not one of the family members son at all? The curse that had fallen upon Axel can’t be lifted and he’s accepted his fate of death, but Pepper isn’t resigned like Axel. Can he be saved?! I ask because the series reminds me so much of this one. Pepper is Bay. Cordelia is Thistle. Amelia is… what’s the name of the kvetch in the Winchester series? Argh, I can’t think of it! But anyway, Betty is totally Aunt Tillie forever ornery, extremely powerful, and always up to no good. And of course Axel is Landon. This Wicked Witches of the Midwest series also has powerful witches and they too face entities that try to steal their power and also have many trials and tribulations. Since Pepper’s books are coming to their end and if you want more magic, head over to the series by Amanda M. Lee. Book 1 of 24 in the Wicked Witches of the Midwest is “Any Witch Way You Can”. Oh! It’s Clove. Clove is the kvetch like Amelia. Next is book 25 of 28 Southern Incantations.
