Inspiring and reflective.

This book grabs one's attention from the start with the "Dear Reader" note. The author truly wants to bless the reader with the understanding that God cares about every little detail in our lives. The candor is greatly appreciated and so refreshing. It is true while reading the stories one is transported to a place in their own life where God speaks and one must decide, "will I listen?" The "Moments of Introspection" at the end of each anecdote assist the reader in searching one's heart and soul. You will laugh and you will cry. There are 52 stories, one for every week of the year and each one brings joy to your spirit.

A Must Read

If people would just get this book in their hands, it could really change their entire way of looking at things. It is a simple yet revolutionary concept. Listen to what we say as we speak to our kids.....is God saying the same to us? "Take out the trash." Something so simple; I ask my kids to do it all the time. Is God trying to get my attention, do I need to take out my trash? Every chapter challenges and encourages me to examine what I am saying as well as whether or not I am listening for God to speak to me. Everyone should read this book. I have read it all the way through and now I'm going back and reading it a little at a time and really reflecting on what it says!

Refreshingly Honest

I've been enjoying this book because the author reveals herself in both powerful and vulnerable ways. As much as I'd like to be a pillar of righteousness and wisdom very moment of the day it just doesn't happen. Life happens. Rachael understands that and brings a perspective to real daily living that is both convicting and encouraging. And the 'Moments of Introspection' after every short chapter, 52 in all, help turn a cool drink of water into a real meal. I keep this book at my desk at work, it pairs perfect with a morning cup of coffee. Sue Charlotte, NC

WOW!!

We don't all have kids but we are all children...of our parents and of God. I have not only said these things but have heard them all my life! Your stories were genuine, funny and powerful. I have started hearing God in an entirely new way. Thank you for listening to God and sharing His message!

Awesome! A Must Read!

This book is so good. The stories are personal and really draws the reader in. I laughed and cried as many points were brought home in a way that made me stop and really think about it. It made me stop and listen to myself (i.e. what I say to my own kids) and it made me stop and really try to listen to what God wants me to hear. Truly inspiring.
