Dawn Daniels and Candace Sandy offer women a valuable tool for self-reflection in their latest book, SOULS REVEALED: A Souls of My Sisters Book of Revelations and Tools for Healing Your Spirit, Soul, and Life. This book is literally chock full of valuable truths and readily assessable tools that allow the reader to apply the truths to their lives. The book highlights the stories of numerous ordinary women who are often scarred by past events and struggle in their daily lives. The authors thoughtfully examine these examples in an effort to identify the universal truths that lie within them and then expound advice on how readers can avoid being held in limbo by the issues. At the conclusion of each chapter, the authors include helpful quizzes that assist readers in determining the role of the particular issue in their own lives, as well as questions for self-reflection, inspirational quotes, and affirmations which speak to the theme of the chapter. SOULS REVEALED touches on a myriad of topics including: self-love, grieving the loss of a loved one, dealing with the pain of parental rejection, and the importance of faith. Unlike so many self-help books, SOULS REVEALED has a balanced approach.
