Jessica on The SVJH track team

Jessica decides to go to on Sweet Valley Junior High's Track Team,after a couple of jerks steal Lacey Frells's half sister Penelope's stuffed rabbit,Bunny and throw it into the pool or fountain. Damon Ross rescues it. Salvadore's column has been rejected from the paper,The Spec. Anna quits the Spec. Jessica hangs out with Lacey and she smokes.She misses most of her Track team practices. Salvadore and I think Elizabeth quits,too. all 3 get together and at Vito's Pizza get a Magazine together. Jessica has a friend in Bethel McCoy.

This book wuz phat, finally jessica is getting to be friends with someone who is nice for a change, and she is trying out some things that she would never have done at her old school! READ THIS BOOK!

One of the best SVJH books. So far!

Through all the trials of junior high, Jessica finally finds someone to be friends with. And Bethel is a REAL friend, not like Lacey. Anyway, GO JESSICA! Congratulations!

i love the sweet valley jr. high series. i think it's way better than the sweet valley twins. lacey convinces jessica to join the track team with her, but it turns out she's only using the track team as an excuse to miss last period on track meet days and so that her parents won't ask her what she's doing after school. jessica, on the other hand enjys the track team. bethel,a teamate hates her. jessica fits the cheerleader description perfectly, so bethel holds that against her a little bit. it's a great bbok and it's really cool. jaimie suzanne is a great writer.

In this book, Bethel thinks Jessica won't want to mess up her perfect hair while she's on the track team. Bethel becomes very surprised when Jessica joins the track team and always comes to the practices. Bethel and Jessica become friends and Jessica stops trying to be friends with Lacey when it's time to leave for the track meet, and Lacey says that she's on the track team, and then Bethel says that Lacey's missed too many practices to be on the track team and that she even heard Mrs. Krebs say so. I think this is a great book and that the next SVJH book, which is called The Cool Crowd will be as good as the other ones in this new series. This is a MUST-READ book!
